It was supposed to be a climbing shooting, as Luka climbed his firs 8c route a few days earlier. We went on the wall and we were ready to roll when unfortunately we witnessed a terrible accident. It had nothing to do with our team, but due to the situation we left the location immediately and went for a coffee, waiting for the adrenaline to fade away.
A few hours later Luka proposed me to save the day by joining him up one of his favorites “home training areas”. It’s a long slope with steep trails where you can get a lot of vertical meters in your legs - quite good if you’re training for the mountains. If that’s not enough, you can always escape the trail and head straight up to the top, as Luka did…
Klättermusen - SS20
In summer 2019 I was asked by Swedish company Klattermusen to shoot their SS20 campaign. We spent two days in the wonderful Pale di San Martino for the shoot.

In June 2019 Swedish company Klättermusen assigned me to shoot their SS20 campaign. As they were looking for some authentic mountain action over spectacular terrain but wanted to avoid overseen and overcrowded places I proposed the wonderful Pale di San Martino range.
That place provides all the best of the Dolomites - amazing landscape, plenty of adventure terrain for both hiking and climbing and amazing sunset and sunrises - without the downsides of more famous ranges like Tre Cime di Lavaredo. The assignment was one of the best I could hope for: to simply go out for a real adventure over two days and to document it in the most authentic way.
Of the many good moments I had the chance to capture, here are some of my favorites.
Asolo 2018 winter shooting and workbook cover
This past winter I was asked to shoot some ice climbing and mountaineering action for Italian shoe manufacturer Asolo. It was already late in the season and weather was quite warm at the time, so me and my team put a lot of effort into researching a good place with some ice that was safe enough to shoot on.
We ended up with this gully, shooting really early in the morning; luckily we got everything we needed just in time and I walked out with what I consider one of my best ice climbing shots.
